Description

Grilled Gourmet Holiday Edition is a festive grilled recipe packed with juicy chicken or steak, charred vegetables, and aromatic herbs. Perfect for holiday grilling, easy entertaining, and gourmet barbecue lovers looking for a flavorful seasonal dish.


Ingredients

2 lbs boneless chicken thighs or steak

3 tbsp olive oil

2 tbsp lemon juice

2 tbsp honey or maple syrup

4 cloves garlic minced

2 tbsp fresh rosemary chopped

2 tbsp fresh thyme chopped

1 lb baby potatoes

1 cup Brussels sprouts halved

1 cup bell peppers sliced

1 tsp salt

1 tsp black pepper


Instructions

1. In a bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, honey or maple syrup, garlic, rosemary, and thyme to create the marinade.

2. Cut vegetables into even pieces and parboil baby potatoes for 10 minutes.

3. Place meat in a dish and coat with marinade. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight.

4. Preheat grill to medium high heat and lightly oil the grates.

5. Grill meat and vegetables, turning occasionally until fully cooked and nicely charred.

6. Remove from grill, garnish with herbs or lemon, and serve warm.

Notes

For extra smoky flavor, add a pinch of smoked paprika or a drop of liquid smoke to the marinade.

You can substitute chicken with turkey, beef, or plant-based protein for variety.

Parboiling potatoes ensures they become crispy outside and tender inside on the grill.
