Description

Ingredients

1 10-ounce package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry

1 cup sour cream

1/2 cup mayonnaise

4 ounces cream cheese, softened

1 clove garlic, minced

2 green onions, finely chopped

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped

1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped

1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper


Instructions

1. Thaw the frozen spinach and squeeze out all excess moisture using a clean kitchen towel or paper towels.

2. In a large bowl, mix together the sour cream, mayonnaise, and cream cheese until smooth.

3. Stir in the minced garlic, green onions, parsley, dill, and chives.

4. Add the spinach and mix thoroughly to combine.

5. Stir in lemon juice, salt, and pepper.

6. Chill the dip for at least 30 minutes before serving to let the flavors meld.

7. Serve cold with your favorite dippers like veggies, bread, or crackers.

Notes

Make sure the spinach is very dry to avoid watery dip.

Chilling the dip makes the flavors deepen—don’t skip it.

You can substitute Greek yogurt for sour cream for a lighter version.
