Description
This Homemade Cranberry Honey Butter recipe blends sweet honey, tart cranberries, and creamy butter into a luxurious spread. Perfect for holiday meals, breakfasts, or edible gifts. Enjoy this festive butter with toast, biscuits, pancakes, or even cheese boards.
Ingredients
1 cup unsalted butter
1 cup cranberries
3 tablespoons honey
1 pinch salt
Instructions
1. Take your unsalted butter out of the fridge and let it soften to room temperature. This makes it easier to whip and blend with the other ingredients.
2. In a small saucepan, add your cranberries and a splash of water. Simmer over medium heat until they burst and become soft. This takes about 5 to 7 minutes. Let them cool slightly.
3. In a mixing bowl or food processor, whip the softened butter with the honey, salt, and cooled cranberries until fully combined and smooth. Taste and adjust the sweetness or salt as needed.
4. Transfer the finished cranberry honey butter to a jar or ramekin. Chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes before serving to help it firm up. Serve with warm rolls, toast, pancakes, or scones.
Notes
Use fresh or frozen cranberries—both work beautifully.
Taste before chilling to adjust sweetness or salt.
Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks or freeze for longer.
