This honey pepper chicken pasta recipe is a creamy, spicy, and sweet pasta dish featuring crispy chicken, a peppery parmesan cream sauce, and honey for a unique twist. Perfect for a weeknight dinner or entertaining guests, it’s a flavor-packed main course that’s easy to make and impossible to forget.

Ingredients

2 chicken breasts

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 cup all-purpose flour

2 eggs

1.5 cups panko breadcrumbs

12 oz fettuccine or linguine pasta

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons butter

3 garlic cloves, minced

1.5 cups heavy cream

1 cup grated parmesan cheese

2 tablespoons honey (plus more to drizzle)

1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

1 teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions

1. Slice chicken breasts into strips and season with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.

2. Dredge each strip in flour, dip in beaten eggs, and coat with panko breadcrumbs.

3. Heat olive oil in a skillet and fry chicken until golden brown and cooked through. Set aside.

4. Boil pasta according to package directions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water and drain.

5. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.

6. Add heavy cream, parmesan cheese, honey, crushed red pepper flakes, and more black pepper to taste.

7. Simmer until the sauce thickens, adding reserved pasta water if needed.

8. Toss cooked pasta into the sauce until fully coated.

9. Serve pasta topped with crispy chicken strips and an extra drizzle of honey if desired.

Notes

Serve with garlic bread or roasted veggies for a full meal.

Use rotini or penne as an alternative pasta option.

Adjust the spice level by reducing or increasing red pepper flakes.
