Description

This honey pepper chicken pasta recipe blends tender seared chicken with a sweet and spicy honey pepper glaze over creamy Parmesan pasta. A perfect comfort food dinner that’s easy, flavorful, and ideal for busy weeknights or special family meals.

Ingredients

2 chicken breasts

8 oz pasta

3 tbsp honey

2 tsp cracked black pepper

2 cloves garlic, minced

3 tbsp butter

1 cup heavy cream

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 tbsp olive oil

½ tsp salt

1 tsp cornstarch

2 tbsp water (for cornstarch slurry)

Instructions

1. Cut chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and cracked black pepper.

2. Heat olive oil and 1 tbsp butter in a skillet over medium heat. Sear chicken until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

3. In the same skillet, melt 1 tbsp butter and add minced garlic. Cook until fragrant.

4. Stir in honey and cracked pepper, let bubble slightly. Mix cornstarch with water and add to skillet to thicken the glaze.

5. Return chicken to the skillet and coat in the honey pepper glaze. Remove from heat.

6. Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water, then drain.

7. In a separate pan, melt 1 tbsp butter and add heavy cream. Stir in Parmesan and reserved pasta water. Simmer until creamy.

8. Toss cooked pasta with the cream sauce until evenly coated.

9. Plate the pasta and top with glazed honey pepper chicken.

10. Garnish with extra Parmesan and cracked pepper before serving.

Notes

Use freshly cracked black pepper for best flavor.

Don’t overcook the chicken to keep it juicy.

Reserve pasta water to adjust sauce thickness.
