Description

Jam Donut French Toast Rolls recipe is the ultimate sweet breakfast treat with fluffy bread, fruity jam filling, crispy cinnamon sugar coating, and a warm gooey center — perfect for brunch or dessert.


Ingredients

8 slices white sandwich bread

8 teaspoons jam (strawberry, raspberry, or apricot)

2 large eggs

3 tablespoons milk

2 tablespoons butter

4 tablespoons sugar

1 teaspoon cinnamon


Instructions

1. Trim crusts off the bread and flatten each slice with a rolling pin.

2. Spread 1 teaspoon of jam along one end of each slice, then roll up tightly.

3. In a shallow bowl, whisk together eggs and milk. In another plate, mix sugar and cinnamon.

4. Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat. Dip each roll into the egg mixture, letting excess drip off, then cook in the skillet seam-side down. Turn until all sides are golden.

5. Roll the cooked rolls in the cinnamon sugar mixture while still warm. Serve immediately.

Notes

Use fresh, soft bread for best results.

Brioche can be substituted for richer flavor.
