Description
This juicy steak with creamy garlic sauce recipe is an easy, restaurant-quality dinner made at home. Featuring tender pan-seared steak and a rich garlic cream sauce with Parmesan, this comforting dish is ready in 30 minutes. Perfect for weeknights or special occasions.
Ingredients
1 lb steak (ribeye, sirloin, or filet mignon)
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup beef broth
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
1. Pat the steak dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, sear the steak on both sides until browned and cooked to your preferred doneness. Remove and let rest.
3. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium. Add butter and minced garlic, cooking until just fragrant.
4. Stir in the beef broth and heavy cream. Simmer gently for 3–4 minutes.
5. Add grated Parmesan cheese and stir until fully melted and the sauce slightly thickens.
6. Slice the steak and spoon the creamy garlic sauce over the top.
7. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
This sauce thickens as it cools, so serve hot.
Let the steak rest before slicing to keep it juicy.
Use freshly grated Parmesan for the best texture and flavor.
