Ingredients
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 tablespoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 egg
3/4 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons butter (plus more for cooking)
6 mini pretzels
6 banana slices
6 chocolate chips
2 red candies or strawberries
Instructions
1. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
2. In another bowl, mix the egg, milk, and vanilla extract.
3. Combine the wet and dry ingredients, stirring gently until just mixed. Let rest.
4. Heat a skillet over medium heat and grease with butter.
5. Pour batter to make one large pancake and two small ones for each reindeer.
6. Flip when bubbles form, cook until golden on both sides.
7. Place large pancake on a plate as the face, small ones as ears.
8. Add pretzels for antlers above the ears.
9. Use banana slices and chocolate chips for eyes.
10. Add a red candy or strawberry as the nose.
11. Optionally, use chocolate chips to create a smile and dust with powdered sugar.
12. Serve warm with syrup or your favorite toppings.
Notes
Use a squeeze bottle for better pancake shaping.
Don’t assemble until ready to serve to keep pretzels crisp.
