Ingredients
1 lb ground beef or turkey
2 cups cooked rice
1 large egg
1/3 cup breadcrumbs
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/4 cup soy sauce or tomato sauce
2 tablespoons chopped parsley or green onions
Instructions
1. In a large bowl, combine ground meat, egg, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
2. Shape the mixture into even meatballs using your hands.
3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add meatballs and cook, turning occasionally, until browned and fully cooked (about 10–12 minutes).
4. While the meatballs cook, prepare or reheat your cooked rice. Keep it warm.
5. Add soy sauce or tomato sauce to the skillet with the meatballs. Let simmer for 3–5 minutes to coat and absorb flavor.
6. Assemble bowls by placing rice on the bottom, topping with meatballs and sauce, and finishing with parsley or green onions.
