Ingredients
1 pound chicken tenders
0.5 cup all-purpose flour
2 large eggs
1 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
0.5 teaspoon salt
0.5 teaspoon black pepper
Oil for frying or cooking spray for baking
Instructions
1. Slice chicken breasts into even strips if using whole breasts. Pat dry with paper towels.
2. Set up a breading station with three shallow bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs mixed with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
3. Dredge each chicken strip in flour, dip in egg, and then press into the breadcrumb mixture until fully coated.
4. To bake: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Place breaded tenders on a parchment-lined sheet and lightly spray with oil. Bake for 18–20 minutes, flipping halfway.
5. To fry: Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook tenders for 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
6. Let cool slightly before serving with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
These are great for meal prep and can be frozen after cooking.
For extra crunch, use panko breadcrumbs and double coat.
Don’t overcrowd the pan when frying to keep the coating crispy.
