Ingredients
1 package crescent roll dough
8 hot dogs
1 tablespoon mustard or ketchup
Optional candy eyes
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Unroll the crescent dough and press the seams together.
3. Cut the dough into thin strips, about ¼ inch wide.
4. Wrap each hot dog with dough strips to look like a mummy, leaving a gap for the eyes.
5. Place wrapped hot dogs on the baking sheet.
6. Bake for 12–15 minutes, until golden brown and cooked through.
7. Let cool slightly, then add mustard, ketchup, or candy eyes.
8. Serve warm with dipping sauces if desired.
Notes
These are best served warm, straight out of the oven.
You can use puff pastry or pizza dough as a substitute.
