Description

These chewy No Bake Preacher Cookies are an easy, classic dessert made with cocoa, peanut butter, and oats. A perfect no oven required cookie recipe that’s ready in 15 minutes using pantry staples. Ideal for quick treats, lunchboxes, or holiday trays.

Ingredients

1/2 cup butter

2 cups granulated sugar

1/2 cup milk

1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1/2 cup creamy peanut butter

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 teaspoon salt

3 cups quick oats

Instructions

1. In a medium saucepan, combine butter, sugar, milk, and cocoa powder over medium heat. Stir until the butter is melted and the sugar dissolves.

2. Bring the mixture to a rolling boil and let it boil for exactly 1 minute while stirring constantly.

3. Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter, vanilla extract, and salt until completely smooth.

4. Add the quick oats and stir until the mixture is well combined and thickened.

5. Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto parchment or wax paper. Let cool at room temperature until set.

Notes

Use quick oats for best texture and setting.

Avoid overboiling; one minute is the sweet spot.

Store in a cool place to keep cookies firm and fresh.
