Ingredients
2 cups crushed pretzels
1 cup unsalted butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 ½ cups chocolate chips
3 tablespoons heavy cream
Instructions
1. Crush pretzels into small pieces and mix with melted butter. Press firmly into a parchment-lined baking dish and refrigerate to set.
2. In a saucepan, heat brown sugar, sweetened condensed milk, and remaining butter over medium heat. Stir until golden and thickened, about 5–7 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
3. Pour the caramel over the pretzel crust and spread evenly.
4. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips with heavy cream in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth. Pour over the caramel layer and spread evenly.
5. Sprinkle with flaky salt if desired. Chill for at least 2 hours until fully set.
6. Slice into squares and serve chilled or at room temperature.
