Description

This no peek beef tips recipe is an easy oven-baked dinner made with tender chunks of beef, slow-cooked in savory gravy. Perfect for busy weeknights or Sunday comfort meals, it pairs beautifully with mashed potatoes, egg noodles, or rice. A no-fuss beef tips and gravy dish that requires no browning or peeking during cooking.

Ingredients

2 pounds beef tips or stew meat

1 packet brown gravy mix

1 can cream of mushroom soup

1 packet Lipton onion soup mix

1 cup water

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 300°F and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.

2. Add the beef tips directly to the dish.

3. In a bowl, mix together the brown gravy mix, cream of mushroom soup, onion soup mix, water, and Worcestershire sauce.

4. Pour the mixture over the beef and stir until evenly coated.

5. Cover the dish *tightly* with aluminum foil.

6. Bake for 3 hours without opening the oven or checking.

7. After 3 hours, remove the dish from the oven and uncover.

8. Stir gently and serve over mashed potatoes, noodles, or rice.

Notes

Use chuck roast or stew meat for best tenderness.

Don’t skip the foil — it’s key to locking in moisture and flavor.

Make-ahead friendly and even better the next day.
