Ingredients
8 oz cream cheese
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup chopped pecans
2 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup maple syrup or corn syrup
1/8 teaspoon salt
Instructions
1. Let cream cheese come to room temperature, then beat until smooth.
2. Add brown sugar and vanilla extract to the cream cheese and mix until fluffy.
3. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add chopped pecans and toast for 4–5 minutes, stirring often.
4. Pour in maple syrup or corn syrup, stir to coat, and let bubble for 2 minutes.
5. Remove pecan mixture from heat.
6. Spread cream cheese base in a shallow dish or bowl.
7. Spoon warm pecan topping evenly over cream cheese layer.
8. Serve immediately warm, or chill if you prefer a firmer dip.
