Description

These Pizza Burritos are packed with melty mozzarella, pizza sauce, and your favorite toppings, then oven baked or air fried to crispy perfection. This easy handheld dinner is perfect for busy nights and loved by both kids and adults. Customize it with your favorite ingredients and enjoy the best of pizza and burritos in one bite.


Ingredients

4 large flour tortillas

1 cup pizza sauce

1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese

½ cup mini pepperoni

½ cup cooked sausage

½ cup chopped bell peppers

¼ cup finely chopped red onion

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 tablespoon olive oil or cooking spray


Instructions

1. Chop bell peppers and red onion, and cook sausage if not pre-cooked. Set all ingredients in an assembly line.

2. Spread 1–2 tablespoons of pizza sauce in the center of each tortilla.

3. Add mozzarella, pepperoni, sausage, peppers, and onion. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning.

4. Fold in sides and roll the tortilla tightly into a burrito shape.

5. For oven: Preheat to 400°F. Place burritos seam side down on a baking sheet. Brush lightly with olive oil and bake for 15–18 minutes until golden and crisp.

6. For air fryer: Set to 375°F. Lightly spray burritos with oil and cook for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through.

7. Let cool for 1–2 minutes before serving with extra sauce for dipping.

Notes

Use warm tortillas to make rolling easier and prevent tearing.

You can freeze unbaked or baked burritos and reheat straight from frozen.

Add mushrooms, olives, or use plant-based meat for a vegetarian version.
