Description

Cozy up with this homemade Pumpkin Spice Latte recipe, featuring real pumpkin puree, warm spices, and creamy milk. This easy fall coffee drink is better than Starbucks and perfect for chilly mornings. Make it hot or iced in under 10 minutes!

Ingredients

1 to 2 shots espresso or strong brewed coffee

2 tablespoons pumpkin puree

1 cup milk of choice

1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 to 2 tablespoons maple syrup or sugar

Whipped cream optional

Instructions

1. In a small saucepan, whisk together pumpkin puree, pumpkin pie spice, and milk over medium heat until hot but not boiling.

2. Remove from heat and stir in maple syrup and vanilla extract until combined.

3. Brew espresso or strong coffee and pour into your mug.

4. Pour the warm pumpkin milk mixture over the coffee and whisk or froth until foamy.

5. Top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of spice if desired.

Notes

Make the pumpkin-milk mixture ahead and store in the fridge for 3 days.

Use oat milk for extra creaminess or almond milk for a lighter version.

Maple syrup adds a rich depth, but you can use any sweetener you prefer.
