Ingredients

8 oz breakfast sausage

6 large eggs

1 cup milk

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

2 cups cubed bread or hash browns (optional)

Instructions

1. Brown the sausage in a skillet until fully cooked. Drain excess fat and set aside.

3. Lightly grease a 9×13 baking dish. Add cubed bread or hash browns if using.

4. Add cooked sausage and shredded cheddar over the base, then pour in the egg mixture evenly.

5. Cover and refrigerate overnight, or bake immediately at 350°F for 35 to 40 minutes.

6. Let the casserole rest 5 to 10 minutes before serving warm.

Notes

Make it ahead: Assemble the night before for a stress-free morning.

Customize: Add bell peppers, spinach, or mushrooms for extra flavor.
