Description

This Shrimp Tortellini with Garlic Sauce recipe is a quick and creamy pasta dish featuring tender cheese tortellini, buttery garlic shrimp, and a rich Parmesan cream sauce. Perfect for weeknight dinners or a cozy seafood pasta night. Keywords: shrimp tortellini, garlic cream sauce, seafood pasta, tortellini shrimp dinner.

Ingredients

9 oz cheese tortellini

1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined

3 tbsp butter

4 garlic cloves, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 tsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the cheese tortellini according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.

2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 1.5 tablespoons of the butter. Add the shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, about 2–3 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.

3. In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and garlic. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.

4. Pour in the heavy cream and let simmer for 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper.

5. Add the tortellini and shrimp to the skillet. Stir gently to coat everything evenly in the sauce. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.

6. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

Use fresh or refrigerated tortellini for best texture.

Don’t overcook the shrimp; they cook quickly and can become rubbery.

Add a splash of lemon juice for brightness if you like citrus notes.
