Ingredients
1 pound ground beef
3 cloves garlic, minced
3 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons oyster sauce
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon chili flakes or 1 tablespoon sriracha
8 ounces cooked noodles (ramen, udon, or spaghetti)
2 green onions, chopped
2 teaspoons sesame oil
1 tablespoon cooking oil
2 tablespoons water or beef broth (optional)
Instructions
1. Bring a pot of water to a boil and cook the noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and toss lightly in sesame oil to prevent sticking. Set aside.
2. Heat cooking oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned and fully cooked, breaking it into crumbles.
3. Lower the heat to medium. Add minced garlic and stir for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
4. Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, and chili flakes or sriracha to the skillet. Stir everything to coat the beef thoroughly.
5. Add the cooked noodles to the pan. Toss well to combine and coat evenly with the sauce. If it looks too dry, stir in water or broth to loosen the mixture.
6. Continue cooking for another 1–2 minutes until everything is heated through.
7. Serve hot, topped with chopped green onions and a final drizzle of sesame oil.
