Description

Slow Cooker BBQ Ribs are fall-off-the-bone tender and packed with flavor. Made with baby back ribs, sweet and smoky BBQ sauce, and cooked low and slow, this easy crockpot ribs recipe is perfect for weeknight dinners or backyard gatherings. Great for those who love no-fuss comfort food with bold BBQ taste.

Ingredients

2 racks baby back ribs

1 cup BBQ sauce

2 tablespoons brown sugar

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon black pepper

2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar (optional)

Instructions

1. Remove the silver skin from the back of the ribs for better texture and flavor absorption.

2. In a small bowl, mix brown sugar, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.

3. Rub the seasoning blend evenly over both sides of the ribs.

4. Cut the racks in half to fit into the slow cooker.

5. Place the ribs in a circular stack inside the slow cooker.

6. Add apple cider vinegar to the bottom if using, then cover.

7. Cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours until tender.

8. Carefully transfer ribs to a foil-lined baking sheet.

9. Brush ribs generously with BBQ sauce.

10. Broil in the oven for 5–8 minutes until sauce is bubbly and caramelized.

11. Let the ribs rest before slicing and serve with extra BBQ sauce if desired.

Notes

Letting the ribs rest before slicing keeps the juices inside and prevents dryness.

If your slow cooker runs hot, check the ribs at the lower end of the cook time.

Use a thick, high-quality BBQ sauce for best flavor and stickiness.
