Description

Smashburger Quesadillas are the ultimate fusion of crispy tortillas and juicy beef, perfect for quick dinners or game day snacks. This easy ground beef quesadilla recipe is loaded with melty cheese, tangy sauce, and customizable toppings.


Ingredients

1/2 pound ground beef

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

4 medium flour tortillas

1/4 cup burger sauce or mayo-ketchup mix

1/4 cup chopped pickles (optional)

1/4 cup diced onions (optional)


Instructions

1. Divide ground beef into 2-ounce balls and season with salt and pepper.

2. Heat skillet over medium-high. Smash each beef ball into the pan and cook 2–3 minutes per side.

3. Remove beef and wipe pan clean. Place tortilla in skillet and add cheese to half the tortilla.

4. Add cooked beef, drizzle with sauce, and top with pickles and onions if using. Fold tortilla over.

5. Cook quesadilla 2–3 minutes per side until golden and cheese is melted.

6. Slice into wedges and serve hot with extra sauce.

Notes

Smash the beef right into the skillet for crispy edges.

Use freshly shredded cheese for best melt and flavor.

Add jalapeños, bacon, or mustard for a fun twist.
