Description

Snowman Cupcakes are the ultimate festive dessert for winter celebrations. These adorable vanilla cupcakes topped with marshmallow snowmen are easy to make, kid-friendly, and perfect for Christmas parties. A delightful winter treat packed with charm and classic cupcake flavor.


Ingredients

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

2 large eggs

1/2 cup whole milk

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract

2 cups powdered sugar

3 tablespoons heavy cream

12 large marshmallows

12 mini marshmallows

36 mini chocolate chips

12 orange sprinkle candies

12 licorice strings (for scarves)


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line a cupcake tin with 12 paper liners.

2. In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.

4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.

5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk.

6. Divide the batter evenly among the liners and bake for 18-22 minutes.

7. Cool cupcakes completely on a wire rack.

8. Prepare the frosting by beating butter, then slowly adding powdered sugar.

9. Add vanilla extract and heavy cream, whipping until fluffy.

10. Frost cooled cupcakes generously.

11. Stack one large and one mini marshmallow on each frosted cupcake.

12. Add mini chocolate chips for eyes and buttons.

13. Place an orange sprinkle for the nose.

14. Wrap a licorice string around the snowman’s neck for a scarf.

15. Decorate with any extra candy accessories you love.

Notes

Use gel frosting or melted chocolate if the mini chips don’t stick well.

Cupcakes can be made a day ahead and decorated before serving.
