Description
Spicy Cajun Chicken with Garlic Parmesan Linguine is a bold, creamy pasta dish with perfectly seared Cajun-seasoned chicken and rich garlic Parmesan sauce. A comforting, flavor-packed dinner idea for weeknights or special occasions.
Ingredients
2 chicken breasts
1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
1 tablespoon olive oil
8 ounces linguine
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon chopped parsley (optional)
Instructions
1. Pat chicken breasts dry and season with Cajun seasoning on both sides.
2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear chicken for 6–8 minutes per side, or until cooked through. Remove and let rest.
3. Boil linguine in salted water until al dente. Reserve 1 cup pasta water and drain.
4. In the same skillet, melt butter. Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
5. Pour in heavy cream and let simmer for 2–3 minutes. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and sauce thickens.
6. Slice the chicken. Add drained linguine to the sauce and toss. Use reserved pasta water to adjust consistency.
7. Top with sliced chicken, sprinkle with parsley, and serve hot.
Notes
This dish is best served immediately to enjoy the creamy texture at its peak.
To reduce heat, use a milder Cajun blend or half the seasoning.
Use freshly grated Parmesan for the smoothest sauce.
