Description

This Spicy Chicken and Pickled Jalapeno Pizza recipe combines bold, smoky chicken, tangy pickled jalapenos, and melty mozzarella for the ultimate homemade pizza night. A quick and easy dinner idea with just the right amount of heat.


Ingredients

1 ball pizza dough

1 cup cooked chicken breast, shredded or diced

1/3 cup pickled jalapenos

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/3 cup pizza sauce

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 tablespoon olive oil


Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If using a pizza stone, place it inside while the oven heats.

2. Roll or stretch out the pizza dough on a floured surface and transfer to a parchment-lined baking sheet or pizza peel.

3. In a small bowl, toss the shredded cooked chicken with olive oil, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.

4. Spread pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a slight border for the crust.

5. Sprinkle mozzarella and cheddar cheese evenly on top.

6. Add the seasoned chicken over the cheese.

7. Scatter pickled jalapenos across the pizza.

8. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the crust is golden.

9. Let cool for a few minutes before slicing. Serve hot with optional drizzle of hot honey or ranch.

Notes

This pizza is easily adaptable—try BBQ sauce instead of tomato for extra smokiness.

Letting the dough come to room temperature before shaping makes it easier to handle.

Reheat leftovers in an oven or air fryer to preserve the crisp crust.
