Description

This Spicy Ground Beef Stir-Fry Bowl with Garlic Veggies & Steamy Rice is a quick, flavor-packed dinner loaded with umami, garlic, and heat. It’s an easy weeknight stir-fry recipe that brings together ground beef, colorful vegetables, and a spicy soy-sriracha sauce over fluffy jasmine rice. Perfect for meal prep, low-stress dinners, or when you’re craving a bold and comforting rice bowl.

Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

4 cloves garlic, minced

3 tbsp soy sauce

1 tbsp brown sugar

1 tbsp sriracha (adjust to taste)

1 tbsp rice vinegar

1 tsp cornstarch

3 tbsp water

2 cups assorted stir-fry vegetables (like broccoli, bell peppers, snap peas)

2 cups cooked jasmine rice

1 tbsp oil (for stir-frying vegetables)

Optional: sesame seeds, scallions, fried egg (for topping)

Instructions

1. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, sriracha, cornstarch, and water. Set aside.

2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned and slightly crispy. Drain excess fat if needed.

3. Add the minced garlic to the skillet with the beef. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.

4. Pour in the sauce mixture and stir well. Let it simmer and thicken, coating the beef in a glossy glaze.

5. In a separate skillet, heat oil over high heat. Add vegetables and stir-fry for 3–4 minutes until crisp-tender and vibrant.

6. To assemble, scoop hot rice into bowls, top with the spicy ground beef, and finish with stir-fried veggies.

7. Garnish with sesame seeds, chopped scallions, or a fried egg if desired. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

This recipe is flexible—swap beef for ground turkey or tofu.

You can use any mix of vegetables you have on hand.

For extra richness, add a drizzle of toasted sesame oil before serving.
