Description

This Steak & Shrimp Stir-Fried Noodles recipe is a quick and flavorful weeknight dinner combining juicy steak, tender shrimp, and saucy noodles. Perfect for busy nights, it’s a savory homemade stir-fry loaded with bold flavor, ready in under 30 minutes.

Ingredients

8 oz steak (flank, skirt, or sirloin), thinly sliced

8 oz shrimp, peeled and deveined

8 oz lo mein or yakisoba noodles (or spaghetti, cooked al dente)

3 tbsp soy sauce

2 tbsp oyster sauce

1 tbsp sesame oil

2 tbsp vegetable oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp fresh ginger, grated

2 scallions, sliced

1 cup assorted vegetables (optional: bell pepper, snow peas, bok choy)

2 tbsp water

Instructions

1. Slice steak thinly against the grain and season with 1 tablespoon soy sauce. Pat shrimp dry and lightly salt.

2. Cook noodles according to package directions. Rinse with cold water and set aside.

3. In a small bowl, mix remaining soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and water to create the stir-fry sauce.

4. Heat 1 tablespoon vegetable oil in a wok over high heat. Sear steak until browned, about 2 minutes. Remove and set aside.

5. Add shrimp to the wok and stir-fry until just pink. Remove and set aside with steak.

6. Add remaining oil to the pan. Stir-fry garlic and ginger until fragrant.

7. Toss in vegetables and stir-fry for 2–3 minutes until crisp-tender.

8. Add noodles and sauce to the pan. Toss until noodles are well coated and heated through.

9. Return steak and shrimp to the pan. Stir to combine and warm everything through.

10. Garnish with scallions and serve hot.
