Description
This stovetop creamy ground beef pasta recipe is an easy one-pan dinner packed with rich flavor and comforting creaminess. Perfect for busy weeknights, it combines ground beef, pasta, and a luscious sauce all cooked in a single skillet. A cozy family favorite with quick prep and minimal cleanup.
Ingredients
1 pound ground beef
8 ounces penne pasta
1 small onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups beef broth
1 cup heavy cream
4 ounces cream cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Instructions
1. In a large skillet over medium heat, add a little oil and cook the chopped onion until softened.
2. Stir in the garlic and cook for 1 more minute until fragrant.
3. Add ground beef to the pan and brown completely. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
4. Pour in the uncooked pasta and beef broth. Stir, cover, and simmer until pasta is al dente, about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
5. Lower the heat and stir in the heavy cream, cream cheese, and Parmesan until smooth and creamy.
6. Simmer for another 2-3 minutes to allow the sauce to thicken.
7. Adjust seasoning if needed, serve warm with extra Parmesan or parsley if desired.
Notes
Cream cheese should be at room temperature so it melts smoothly.
You can substitute rotini, shells, or rigatoni if penne isn’t available.
Add red pepper flakes or chopped mushrooms for extra depth.
