Description

This Strawberries and Cream Dream Layer Cheesecake Cake blends rich cheesecake, fluffy vanilla cake, and whipped strawberry cream into one unforgettable dessert. Ingredients

1 box vanilla cake mix

16 oz cream cheese

1 cup sugar

3 large eggs

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 cup heavy whipping cream

1 cup sliced fresh strawberries

1 stick butter (melted)


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 325°F and line a springform pan with parchment paper.

2. In a bowl, beat cream cheese, 1/2 cup sugar, 2 eggs, and 1/2 tsp vanilla extract until smooth.

3. Pour mixture into the pan and bake for 35-40 minutes or until set. Chill completely.

4. Prepare vanilla cake mix as directed on box using melted butter, 1 egg, and water or milk as needed.

5. Divide cake batter between two round pans and bake at 350°F for 25-30 minutes. Cool completely.

6. In a chilled bowl, whip heavy cream with remaining sugar and 1/2 tsp vanilla until soft peaks form.

7. Fold in sliced fresh strawberries gently into the whipped cream.

8. Place one cake layer on a serving plate, top with chilled cheesecake layer, then second cake layer.

9. Frost the entire cake with the whipped strawberry cream.

10. Chill for at least 2 hours before slicing for clean layers.

Notes

This cake can be made 1 day in advance for easy prep.

Use fresh strawberries for best texture in whipped cream.
