Description

Strawberry Crackle Salad is a creamy, fruity dessert salad made with fresh strawberries, marshmallows, pineapple, whipped topping, and a crisp crackle finish for the perfect sweet and crunchy bite.

Ingredients

2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced

2 cups mini marshmallows

1 cup crushed pineapple, drained

1 cup whipped topping

3 tablespoons vanilla instant pudding mix

1/2 cup sour cream

3/4 cup crisp crackle topping or crushed crisp candy pieces

Instructions

1. Wash, hull, and slice the strawberries into bite sized pieces, then pat them dry well.

2. In a large bowl, stir together the sour cream, whipped topping, and vanilla pudding mix until smooth and creamy.

3. Fold in the sliced strawberries, drained crushed pineapple, and mini marshmallows until evenly coated.

4. Cover the bowl and chill the salad in the refrigerator for 1 hour so the texture can set.

5. Fold in the crackle topping just before serving, or sprinkle it over the top for the best crunch.

Notes

Use very dry strawberries so the salad stays thick and creamy.

Add the crackle topping right before serving so it keeps its crisp texture.

For the best flavor, chill the salad long enough for the pudding mix to fully blend into the creamy base.
