Description
Stuffing Stuffed Chicken Breasts are a hearty dinner favorite made with juicy chicken breasts filled with savory herb stuffing. This baked stuffed chicken recipe is perfect for cozy family meals or holiday leftovers. It’s easy, flavorful, and packed with homestyle comfort.
Ingredients
4 large boneless skinless chicken breasts
2 cups prepared stuffing (homemade or boxed mix)
2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
1. Use a sharp knife to slice a pocket into the side of each chicken breast, being careful not to cut all the way through.
2. Spoon the prepared stuffing into each pocket, gently pressing it in. Don’t overfill—the stuffing should be snug but not spilling out.
3. Sprinkle both sides of the stuffed chicken breasts with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
4. In an oven-safe skillet, heat butter and olive oil over medium heat. Sear the chicken on each side until golden, about 3 minutes per side.
5. Transfer the skillet to a preheated oven at 375°F and bake for 20–25 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the stuffing is hot.
Notes
This dish works great with leftover stuffing from holidays.
Don’t overstuff the chicken—it may burst open while baking.
Use a meat thermometer to ensure the internal temp reaches 165°F.
