Perfect for weeknights or special occasions, this easy shrimp recipe delivers restaurant-quality taste in under 30 minutes.

Ingredients

1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined

4 cloves garlic, minced

3 tbsp butter

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp salt

½ tsp black pepper

1 tbsp lemon juice

¾ cup heavy cream

⅓ cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 cups cooked rice

2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

1 tbsp chopped fresh dill or chives

Instructions

1. Heat olive oil and 1 tbsp butter in a skillet over medium heat.

2. Add shrimp in a single layer. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for 1-2 minutes per side until pink and opaque.

3. Stir in garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant. Remove shrimp and set aside.

4. In the same skillet, add remaining butter and pour in heavy cream. Bring to a simmer.

5. Stir in Parmesan cheese, cooked rice, and fresh herbs. Let it cook 2-3 minutes until creamy.

6. Taste and adjust with salt and lemon juice if needed.

7. Serve rice in bowls, top with shrimp, garnish with herbs, and enjoy hot.

Notes

Use thawed, patted-dry shrimp for best sear.

Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for heat if desired.

Swap dill for basil or cilantro depending on your herb preference.
