Description

These melted snowman peanut butter cookies are festive holiday treats combining creamy peanut butter cookies with playful marshmallow snowmen. Perfect for Christmas cookie trays, kids’ baking fun, or winter parties, they’re as adorable as they are delicious.


Ingredients

1 cup creamy peanut butter

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup unsalted butter

1 large egg

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

3/4 teaspoon baking soda

1/4 teaspoon salt

24 large marshmallows

1/2 cup icing or melted white chocolate

decorative candy eyes, mini chocolate chips, colored gel, or sprinkles


Instructions

1. Cream together peanut butter, butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy.

2. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until combined.

3. In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt. Add to the wet ingredients and mix into a dough.

4. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Roll dough into tablespoon-sized balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

5. Bake for 8–10 minutes until edges are golden.

6. While warm, press a marshmallow in the center of each cookie and let cool completely.

7. Drizzle icing or melted white chocolate around the marshmallow to create a “melted snow” look.

8. Decorate with candy eyes, gel, and sprinkles to create snowman faces and buttons.

9. Let decorations set before serving or storing.

Let cookies cool before decorating to avoid melting the icing.

Use classic creamy peanut butter for best texture—not natural peanut butter.
