Description

Ingredients

1 lb ground turkey

1 large egg

½ cup breadcrumbs

⅓ cup grated parmesan cheese

2 cloves garlic, minced

¼ cup finely chopped onion

1 tsp Italian seasoning

¾ tsp salt

½ tsp black pepper

2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

Olive oil spray for baking


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil. Spray lightly with olive oil.

2. In a large bowl, mix together ground turkey, egg, breadcrumbs, parmesan, garlic, onion, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and parsley until just combined.

3. Roll mixture into 2-tablespoon-sized balls and place them evenly on the baking sheet.

4. Lightly spray the tops of the meatballs with olive oil spray.

5. Bake for 18 to 20 minutes until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should be 165°F).

6. Serve warm or store for later use.

Notes

Use ground turkey with some fat (like 93%) for juicier meatballs.

Avoid overmixing the meat mixture to keep the texture tender.
