Description

Whipped Banana Pudding Frosting is the ultimate light and fluffy topping made with instant banana pudding, whipped topping, and cream cheese. Perfect for cakes, cupcakes, and parfaits. Try this easy banana frosting recipe for your next dessert!

Ingredients

1 package instant banana pudding mix (3.4 oz)

1 cup cold milk

4 oz cream cheese, softened

8 oz whipped topping (like Cool Whip)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

1. Whisk together the banana pudding mix and cold milk in a large bowl. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened.

2. In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy.

3. Add the thickened pudding to the cream cheese and beat until fully combined and smooth. Scrape down the sides.

4. Gently fold the whipped topping into the mixture until no streaks remain, being careful not to deflate it.

5. Chill for 20–30 minutes if needed to firm up before piping or spreading.

Notes

Use whole milk for the richest flavor and texture.

Chilling the frosting helps it hold shape better for piping.

You can fold in crushed cookies or banana slices for extra flair.
