Ingredients
2 ripe Bosc or Anjou pears
3 tablespoons honey
4 tablespoons chopped walnuts
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 tablespoon unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon lemon juice
Instructions
1. Cut the pears in half lengthwise and scoop out the core using a spoon or melon baller. Place the halves cut side up in a baking dish.
2. In a small bowl, combine chopped walnuts, 1 tablespoon honey, cinnamon, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
3. Spoon the walnut mixture into the hollow of each pear half. Dot with butter pieces and drizzle lemon juice over the pears.
4. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 25–30 minutes, until pears are tender and fragrant.
5. Let cool slightly and drizzle with the remaining honey before serving warm.
Notes
Choose firm yet ripe pears for the best texture.
Add a sprinkle of sea salt for balance if desired.
Serve with ice cream or yogurt for added richness.
