Description

A crispy Bang Bang Chicken Bowl loaded with tender chicken breast, creamy spicy sauce, fluffy rice, and fresh slaw. This easy chicken bowl recipe is perfect for meal prep, quick dinners, or flavor-packed lunches. High-protein, customizable, and satisfying.

Ingredients

1 lb chicken breast

1/2 cup cornstarch

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 cup oil (for frying)

1/3 cup mayonnaise

3 tablespoons sweet chili sauce

1 tablespoon sriracha (adjust to taste)

2 cups cooked white rice

1 cup coleslaw mix or shredded lettuce

2 tablespoons chopped green onions

Instructions

1. Cut chicken breast into bite-sized cubes and season with salt and pepper.

2. Toss chicken in cornstarch until evenly coated.

3. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Fry chicken pieces in batches until golden and crispy. Drain on a paper towel.

4. In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and sriracha to create the bang bang sauce.

5. In a bowl, add a serving of rice, top with coleslaw mix, add crispy chicken, drizzle with bang bang sauce, and garnish with green onions.

6. Serve immediately, or store components separately for meal prep.

Notes

This bowl is best enjoyed fresh so the chicken stays crispy.

To make it lighter, try serving it over shredded lettuce or cabbage.

Adjust sriracha depending on your spice preference.
