Description

A rich and spicy Creamy Cajun Chicken Bowtie Pasta with Garlic Cheese Sauce perfect for cozy dinners. Featuring tender Cajun-seasoned chicken, cheesy garlic cream sauce, and bowtie pasta, this easy one-skillet recipe is your new comfort food favorite. Great for weeknight meals or impressing guests. Keywords: creamy cajun chicken pasta, garlic cheese pasta, bowtie pasta dinner.

Ingredients

2 cups bowtie pasta

2 boneless chicken breasts

1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 tablespoons butter

3 garlic cloves, minced

4 ounces cream cheese

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

2 tablespoons chopped parsley (optional)

Instructions

1. Slice chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces and coat with Cajun seasoning.

2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and cook until browned and cooked through. Set aside.

3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 1 minute until fragrant.

4. Add cream cheese and stir until fully melted and combined with the garlic.

5. Pour in heavy cream and continue stirring until smooth.

6. Mix in Parmesan and Mozzarella cheeses. Stir until sauce is creamy. Season with salt and pepper.

7. Meanwhile, cook bowtie pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain, reserving 1/4 cup of pasta water.

8. Return cooked chicken to skillet and add drained pasta. Stir to coat everything evenly. Add reserved pasta water if needed.

9. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.

Notes

This pasta is best enjoyed fresh, but leftovers can be stored in the fridge.

Reheat gently with a splash of milk or cream to revive the sauce.

For a seafood twist, swap the chicken for shrimp.
