Description

Easy Garlic Butter Baked Salmon is a quick and flavorful salmon dinner made with tender oven baked salmon fillets, rich garlic butter, fresh lemon, and simple pantry seasonings. This easy baked salmon recipe is perfect for busy weeknights, healthy family dinners, and anyone looking for a simple seafood meal that feels fresh, buttery, and satisfying.

Ingredients

2 pounds salmon fillets

4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 lemon, sliced

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 400°F and lightly grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper.

2. Pat the salmon fillets dry and place them in the prepared baking dish with a little space between each piece.

3. In a small bowl, stir together the melted butter, minced garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and black pepper.

4. Spoon or brush the garlic butter mixture evenly over the salmon fillets.

5. Arrange the lemon slices over and around the salmon.

6. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the salmon is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.

7. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and spoon the pan juices over the top before serving.

Notes

Use salmon fillets that are close in size so they bake evenly.

Do not overbake the salmon or it can dry out quickly.

For even more flavor, let the garlic butter sit for a few minutes before brushing it over the fish.
