4 large yellow onions, thinly sliced

6 cups beef broth

1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
8 baguette slices
1 1/2 cups shredded Gruyère cheese
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
