Description

No-Bake Peanut Butter Bars are a rich, easy dessert made with creamy peanut butter, graham cracker crumbs, powdered sugar, and a smooth chocolate topping. These homemade no-bake bars are perfect for parties, holiday trays, make-ahead treats, and anyone craving a simple peanut butter chocolate dessert without turning on the oven.

Ingredients

1 cup unsalted butter, melted

2 cups creamy peanut butter, divided

2 cups graham cracker crumbs

2 cups powdered sugar

1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

1. Line an 8×8-inch or 9×9-inch pan with parchment paper, leaving overhang on the sides for easy lifting later.

2. In a large mixing bowl, stir together the melted butter and 1 1/2 cups of the peanut butter until smooth.

3. Add the graham cracker crumbs, powdered sugar, and salt. Mix until a thick, even mixture forms.

4. Press the peanut butter mixture firmly into the prepared pan and smooth the top into an even layer.

5. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and the remaining 1/2 cup peanut butter. Heat in short intervals, stirring between each one, until smooth and glossy.

6. Spread the chocolate mixture evenly over the peanut butter base.

7. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until firm.

8. Lift the bars out of the pan using the parchment paper, slice into bars, and serve chilled or slightly softened at room temperature.

Notes

These bars slice more cleanly when fully chilled, especially if you wipe the knife between cuts.

Using regular creamy peanut butter gives the most reliable texture. Natural peanut butter can make the base too oily or too soft.

A pinch of flaky salt on top can balance the sweetness and make the chocolate and peanut butter flavors stand out even more.
