Description
Orange Creamsicle Truffles are a creamy no-bake dessert made with vanilla cookies, cream cheese, orange zest, and white chocolate for a bright citrus treat with classic creamsicle flavor. These easy homemade truffles are perfect for holiday trays, party desserts, and make-ahead sweet bites.
Ingredients
36 vanilla sandwich cookies, crushed
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 tablespoon orange zest
2 tablespoons frozen orange juice concentrate
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
12 ounces white chocolate melting wafers
1 tablespoon orange sanding sugar or extra orange zest for garnish
Instructions
1. Crush the vanilla sandwich cookies into very fine crumbs using a food processor or a sealed bag and rolling pin.
2. Mix the cookie crumbs, softened cream cheese, orange zest, orange juice concentrate, and vanilla extract in a bowl until smooth and fully combined.
3. Chill the mixture for 30 to 45 minutes until firm enough to scoop.
4. Roll the chilled mixture into 20 to 24 even truffle balls and place them on a parchment-lined tray.
5. Chill the rolled truffles for another 15 to 20 minutes so they stay firm during dipping.
6. Melt the white chocolate wafers until smooth, then dip each truffle and let the excess coating drip off.
7. Place the coated truffles back on the tray and immediately garnish with orange sanding sugar or extra zest.
8. Refrigerate until set, then serve chilled or slightly cool.
Notes
Use fresh orange zest for the brightest flavor and avoid zesting the bitter white pith.
If the filling feels too soft to roll, chill it a little longer before shaping.
Keep the truffles cold while dipping so the centers hold their shape and the coating sets neatly.
