Description

This easy no-bake tiramisu truffles recipe blends creamy mascarpone, bold espresso, and cocoa in rich, bite-sized dessert balls. Perfect for coffee lovers, gifting, or party platters. Learn how to make tiramisu truffles with ladyfingers and simple ingredients.

Ingredients

24 ladyfingers

8 oz mascarpone cheese

3 tbsp brewed espresso (or 1 tbsp instant espresso powder dissolved in 2 tbsp hot water)

1 cup powdered sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 cup dark chocolate chips (optional, for coating or drizzle)

3 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder (for dusting)

Instructions

1. Crush the ladyfingers into fine crumbs using a food processor or by placing them in a zip-top bag and crushing with a rolling pin.

2. In a large bowl, mix the crumbs with mascarpone, brewed espresso, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Stir until fully combined and a dough forms.

3. Cover the bowl and refrigerate the mixture for 30 minutes to firm up.

4. Once chilled, scoop out tablespoon-sized amounts and roll them into smooth balls. Place them on a parchment-lined tray.

5. If coating with chocolate, melt the dark chocolate chips in a microwave or double boiler. Dip or drizzle over each truffle and allow them to set.

6. Dust each truffle with cocoa powder just before serving for that classic tiramisu finish.

7. Store truffles in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 5 days.

Notes

These truffles taste even better the next day.

You can use Kahlua or coffee liqueur instead of espresso for an adult twist.

If mixture feels too wet, add extra ladyfinger crumbs a tablespoon at a time.
